I kept old scheduling things because they explain office work better than most manuals do. A clean calendar system is what the software wanted. The crossed-out printout is what actually happened by Wednesday afternoon.

This site is for paper appointment books, printed daily lists, reminder cards, pocket calendars, and early scheduling software. It is not a buying guide. It is mostly about what fields were too small, which printouts were useful, and why a recurring appointment was only recurring until someone phoned.

Generic weekly appointment grid with time slots and a moved appointment arrow

Weekly grids
Good until the first arrow crosses two columns.

Generic PDA calendar screen with appointment list

Pocket calendars
Small screens made short notes feel like a moral requirement.

The useful parts are the recurring appointment notes, the rescheduling marks, and the calendar correction examples.
